Your account

Delete your account

You can delete your Luvkin account, and everything you own in it, at any time.

In the app

  1. Open Luvkin and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings, then Delete my account.
  3. Confirm. Your account locks straight away.

If you pay for a plan

Deleting your Luvkin account does not cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. To stop future payments, cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account. Deleting your account ends your access, even if you have paid for time that is left.

If you cannot sign in

Email from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. If you write from a different address, we will ask you to confirm the request from the address on the account first, so nobody else can delete it. We reply within one month.

What is deleted

Everything you own: your documents and the details from them, statements and regular payments, plans, goals, household jobs, pensions, budgets, reminders, trusted people, feedback and your account itself. Records you shared with others stop being shared at once.

Your account is locked as soon as you ask, and erased 7 days later, unless you sign in and cancel before then. Deleted data can stay in our backups until they expire.

What is kept

  • Security records of important actions are kept without your name or account, so they no longer identify you.
  • Billing records, if you had a subscription, are kept for 6 years after the end of the accounting period they relate to, because company law requires it.
  • We keep records of partner fees for accounting purposes. We remove the link to your Luvkin account when it is deleted. Our privacy notice explains what is kept and for how long.
